[https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Lyford-7 (Rev.) John Lyford] was born about 1575 in England, ancestry and location unknown. It is known the family came over to New Plimoth in 1624. Charles E. Banks believed the ship he emigrated on was called the ''Charity.'' Rev. John's will was dated 9 Feb 1629/30 at Shirley Hundred, Virginia and he died by the summer of 1631. Rev. John married bef 1615 Sarah _____ and they had five children:<ref>A deposition by wife Sarah indicated where her husband had a bastard child before marriage, but this child (who lived with the couple) must have died before the family emigrated to the New World.</ref> Obadiah (by 1615), Ann (c1622-1639 unm), Ruth (c1623), Mordecai (1624) and Martha (c1650).

[https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Lyford-628 Obadiah Lyford] was born bef 4 Nov 1615 as he matriculated at University of Oxford 4 Nov 1631, aged 16. He died, apparently unmarried, at Ireland by 1639, naming his brother Mordecai as his sole heir.

Mehitable Clark, said to have been born about 1695 and died Falmouth (now Portland), ME 5 Apr 1761. She married Harwich 18 Jun 1713 Joshua Bangs and they had Nathan (1714), Thomas (1716, d.y.), Thankful (1720), Joshua (1723), Mehitable (1728), Susanna (1731) and Sarah.

Sarah Clark was born Harwich (now Brewster) 22 Sep 1702 and died there 8 Aug 1727. She married Harwich 11 Feb 1719 (Capt.) Edward Bangs and they had Benjamin (1721), Elizabeth (1723) and Sarah (1727).

Susannah Clark was born Harwich (now Brewster) 9 Dec 1705 and died in Yarmouth in 1757. She married Samuel Hallett and they had ''at least'': Thankful (1724) and Enoch (1728).

Thankful Clark was baptized Harwich (now Brewster) 26 Jan 1707 and died 1 Aug 1783. She married Harwich 15 Jun 1727 Thomas Hopkins and they had: Sarah (1729), Jonathan (1731), Stephen (bp 1733), Elkanah (1735), Thankful (bp 1737), Elkanah (bp 1739), Joshua (bp 1742), Mehitable (bp 1744), Thomas (bp 1746), Susanna (bp 1748) and Benjamin (bp 1750).

Elizabeth Baxter was born Yarmouth 2 Jan 1706/7. She married Yarmouth about 1726 William Downs (III) and they had twelve children (Yarmouth): Elizabeth (1727 m John Robbins), Desire (1728 m Prince Bearse), Barnabas (1730), Thankful (1732 m Benjamin Baker & Timothy Hope), Mary (1734), Jabez (1735/6), infant daughter (1737-1737), Sarah (1738 m Elijah Seaver), William (1740), Isaac (1742), Lydia (1743/4) and Benjamin (1749).

Temperance Baxter was born Yarmouth 14 Aug 1712 and died Harwich before 5 Nov 1789.<ref>Son appointed administrator of her estate.</ref> She mmarried twice, first Yarmouth 25 Feb 1730/1 Samuel Downs and second Harwich 30 Dec 1754 Nathaniel Howes (no children). By her first husband she had eight children: Hannah (1732), Nathaniel (1734), Temperance (c1736 m Jeremiah O'Killey), Samuel (1739), Shubael (1741), Jane (c1743), Jonathan (c1745) and Baxter (c1747).

Thankful Baxter was born Yarmouth 29 Jan 1711/2 and died Barnstable 9 Apr 1786. Samuel Lumbert and third, Barnstable 19 Feb 1761 (as his second wife) John Hinckley (II). Thankful only had children by her first husband (Thacher, born Yarmouth): Lydia (1736-1736), Thomas (1740 d.y.), Elizabeth (1741/2 m Thomas Palmer) and Thankful (1744).

Sarah Howes was born Yarmouth 22 Jan 16991700 and died ''probably'' Chatham (now East Hampton), CT after 1748.
