Biography
First Generation
Christopher Wadsworth was born England abt 1609 date, place and parentage currently unknown. He died Duxbury aft 31 Jul 1677. He married bef 1634 Grace ?Cole and they had four children (Duxbury): Joseph (c1634), Samuel (c1636), John (1638) and Mary (c1640).
Second Generation
Joseph Wadsworth was born Duxbury abt 1634 and died there abt 22 Mar 1689. He married twice, first Duxbury 25 Jul 1657 Abigail Wait then Mary ____. He had (Duxbury): Joseph (1659), Mehitable (c1664), Ruth (c1664), Samuel (c1665), Elisha (c1669) and Bethia (1687).
Samuel Wadsworth was born Duxbury abt 1636 and died in the French & Indian War at what is now Sudbury 21 Apr 1676. He married 1656 Abigail Lindall and they had: Ebenezer (1660), Christopher (1661), Timothy (1662), Joseph (1667), Benjamin (1670), Abigail (1672) and John (1674).
(Dea.) John Wadsworth was born Duxbury 1638 and died there 15 May 1700. He married 25 Jul 1667 Abigail Andrews and they had eleven children (Duxbury): Mary (1668), Abigail (1670), John (1671), Grace (c1677), Lydia (1679), Hannah (c1680), Sarah (1682), Christopher (1686), Hopestill (dau 1686), Ichabod (1687) and Isaac (1692).

Previous Y-DNA testing
The Wadsworth surname DNA Project Group: "(3) Christopher Wadsworth, born c1609 Family" currently consists of three individuals. None of them have Y-SNP tested. Two of them have taken the Y37 STR test with the third taking the Y67 STR test. Plugging in the modal values of this group into the NevGen Haplogroup Predictor Tool (set for R1b clades) gives a split response with a 40.99% chance of it falling under R1b-Z2103>Z2106 with a 38.63% chance of it falling under a subclade: R1b-Z2103>Z2106>>BY250.
NGS/WGS testing
