First Generation
John Adams' origins are unknown. He arrived as a single man and married Ellen/Eleanor Newton about 1625. He died at Plymouth between 1 Jul - 24 Oct 1633. John and Ellen had the following children: James (born by 1627), John (c 1630) and Susan (c 1630, no further record).
Second Generation
James Adams was born at New Plimoth sometime before the cattle division (22 May 1627) as he is the only child named in the family. James died at sea 19 Feb 1654. He was married Scituate about 16 Jun 1646[1] They had five children: William (1647), Anna (1649), Richard (1651), Mary (1652/3) and Margaret (1654).
John Adams was born at New Plimouth sometime after the cattle division of 1627 and died at Chester, New Jersey 19 Jan 1703/4. He married twice
