Previous Y-DNA testing

The Wadsworth surname DNA Project Group: "(3) Christopher Wadsworth, born c1609 Family" currently consists of three individuals. None of them have Y-SNP tested. Two of them have taken the Y37 STR test with the third taking the Y67 STR test. Plugging in the modal values of this group into the NevGen Haplogroup Predictor Tool (set for R1b clades) gives a split response with a 40.99% chance of it falling under R1b-Z2103>Z2106 with a 38.63% chance of it falling under a subclade: R1b-Z2103>Z2106>>BY250.

NGS/WGS testing

NGS/WGS testing of patrilineal (direct male line Y-DNA descendants) would identify the haplogroup for the family and possibly define subclades for descendants. Anyone who believe they are Y-DNA descendants of Christopher Wadsworth is encouraged to Y-DNA test and contact MayflowerDNA1620@gmail.com
