As of 1 Oct 2020, the [https://www.familytreedna.com/public/conant?iframe=yresults Conant Family Tree DNA Project] Subgroup: "Roger Conant" lists two individuals (STR matching each other). Neither of these individuals have done any Y-SNP testing, but one has tested 37 Y-STRs. FTDNA has predicted the family would fall under the R1b-M269 clade. Due to the fact we only have 37 STR markers, the Nevgen Haplogroup Prediction tool is unable to further refine the family's haplogroup.

The [https://www.familytreedna.com/public/conant?iframe=ydna-results-overview Conant Family Tree DNA Project] Group: "Roger Conant" currently contains three individuals. They have only done Y-STR testing, with one individual testing Y67 STRs. Plugging in his STR values into the [https://nevgen.org NevGen Haplogroup Predictor tool] (set for subclades of R1b) gives a result of: R1b-L21>DF13>ZZ10>Z253>>BY39781 with a 94.2% probability.

===Further needed testing===

We need additional direct male-line descendants of Joshua Conant to WGS/NGS test to both confirm this prediction as well as to refine the haplogroup further and delineate descendant clades.

NGS/WGS testing of patrilineal (direct male line Y-DNA descendants) would identify the haplogroup for the family and possibly define subclades for descendants. Anyone who believe they are Y-DNA descendants of Thomas Clark is encouraged to contact Raymond Wing email:  MayflowerDNA1620@gmail.com

Previous Y-DNA testing

The Conant Family Tree DNA Project Group: "Roger Conant" currently contains three individuals. They have only done Y-STR testing, with one individual testing Y67 STRs. Plugging in his STR values into the NevGen Haplogroup Predictor tool (set for subclades of R1b) gives a result of: R1b-L21>DF13>ZZ10>Z253>>BY39781 with a 94.2% probability.

NGS/WGS testing

NGS/WGS testing of patrilineal (direct male line Y-DNA descendants) would identify the haplogroup for the family and possibly define subclades for descendants. Anyone who believe they are Y-DNA descendants of Thomas Clark is encouraged to contact Raymond Wing email: MayflowerDNA1620@gmail.com
