===First Generation===
Samuel Thaxter was born Hingham 10 May 1641, son of Thomas Thaxter & Elizabeth ____. Samuel died there 27 May 1725. He married twice, first 19 Dec 1666 [[Elizabeth Walker (mtDNA)#Second Generation|Abigail Church]] and second Hingham 13 Jun 1678 Deborah Lincoln.<ref>Samuel had three children by his second wife, but they were not descended from a Mayflower Passenger.</ref> By his first wife, Samuel had seven children (born Hingham): Abigail (1667-1667), Sarah (1668), Abigail (1670-1671), David (1672), Mary (1674-1674), John (1675-1675) and Samuel (1677-1678).

===Second Generation===
David Thaxter was born Hingham 6 Apr 1672 and died there 14 Jun 1760. He married Hingham 24 Jun 1695 Alice Chubbuck and they had three children (born Hingham): Alice (1698), Martha (1700) and David (1709).

===Third Generation===
David Thaxter (II) was born Hingham 19 Jul 1709 and died there 2 Oct 1791. He married Hingham 29 Nov 1739 Deborah Lincoln and they had ten children (born Hingham): David (1740-1785 unm.), Jonathan (1741/2 m Bethia Lincoln), Martha (1743/4), Jacob (1746/7), Seth (1748-1751/2), Deborah (1750-1751), Deborah (1752), Seth (1755 m Elizabeth Marsh), Laban (1757) and Daniel (1760).
